Clinic Spa Day

Our Clinic Spa Day allowed for female clients and their female caregivers to have a relaxing and fun time together discovering methods of self-care by developing and exploring with nurturing activities. Families were offered different stations including making their own facial masks, hand and arm massages, brushing and doing hair, as well as foot soaking and foot massages.

Clinic Expressive Arts Day

An opportunity was given to one youth to practice assertiveness and build self-confidence in mastery of her artistic skills by providing her with a leadership role. This youth painted the "pre painting" before the event and taught her peers on how to paint the painting she created. The youth were given an opportunity to use art as a way to express selves by working in a structured environment where it was safe to make mistakes, learn from others, and “try it out” as a point of interest. They enjoyed being outdoors, looking at nature and hearing its sounds, and taking in the sun.

Family Ties Summer Camp

Activities include dancing, arts and crafts, games, science experiments, a trip to the Steinbeck Center and the Railroad Museum, BBQ day at the park, a Waste Management presentation of recycling and composting, a trip to Hidden Hills Ranch and the Morgan Hill Aquatic Center, and a cooking session where a chef teaches older children how to prepare a special dessert.
