Unique Holiday Gifts Raise Funds for Kids
Handcrafted just in time for holiday giving, these exquisite afghans are being featured for sale at $45 each by the Gabilan Chapter Women’s Auxiliary. The 50″ x 65″ woven cotton throws are available in navy, black and cranberry and depict life in San Benito County. The Gabilan Chapter has been providing dedicated help to Kinship Center for decades, hosting fundraisers and special sales to raise dollars that support Kinship Center’s programs for abused, neglected and abandoned children in San Benito County. Members are especially excited about offering beautiful afghans that highlight historic and present life in the County and that they hope will be popular holiday gifts. “Even if you don’t live in San Benito County, these throws are lovely to have or to give,” says sale chair Nan Englehardt. “They’re soft and warm, and you have the joy of knowing that you have helped a needy child.” To purchase, please call (831) 637-2363. The afghans are also available for sale at Rancher’s Feed, 154 First St., Hollister, or at Kinship Center headquarters, 124 River Rd., Salinas. blog comments powered by Disqus |
