A historic three-day event in Tustin, where Kinship Center has recently moved its Southern California headquarters, offered a venue for Kinship Center staff, volunteers and families to educate the public about adoption.

“Tustin Tiller Days” has been a regular event in Tustin since 1957, providing an opportunity for Tustin to celebrate Orange County’s agricultural heritage and for local non-profit groups to raise funds. Over the years, local civic organizations have raised thousands of dollars to benefit a wide variety of local needs.

Sporting “Adoption Rocks” t-shirts and banner, Kinship Center’s team was out in force to march in the parade and celebrate the beginning of National Adoption Awareness Month (November). A high-energy Kinship Center booth invited visitors to win prizes for answering questions about adoption, foster care and relative caregiving.
