What services does Kinship Center have for children who have PTSD, attachment issues, anxiety and depression?
Kinship Center has almost three decades of experience working with children who have experienced trauma and transitioning to family sustainability or permanency. The organization has mental health clinics with highly trained staff to provide individual, family, and group treatment, in addition to, parent education classes. The evidenced based and best practice interventions provided are Parent-Child Interactive Therapy, Incredible Years, Triple ‘P’, Love and Logic, Theraplay, Yoga, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, and Animal Assisted Therapy. Developmental screenings are conducted for children 4 months of age to 6 years old, in-home behavioral coaching, occupational therapy assessments, psychological and medication evaluations are, also, available.Kinship Center has mental health facilities and services for children and families throughout California.
