About Seneca Orange County: Seneca Orange County is the Southern California branch of the statewide agency and incorporates the established programs of Kinship Center and Canyon Acres. More than 50,000 children in California are waiting for a safe home and a loving family that will be there for life. Seneca OC builds adoptive and other families where children can heal from past abuse, neglect or abandonment and grow to healthy adulthood. We help over 1,000 children each year, mostly those whom many others consider too difficult: severely traumatized children, older teenagers, children with disabilities, large sibling groups, and drug affected infants. Every child deserves a family, and Seneca OC makes it happen. We invite you to explore our website to learn about our regional and statewide programs.
Orange County Services:
Seneca OC provides a continuum of services in Orange County and throughout Southern California that creates and sustains permanent families for children who need them. Through our unconditional care model, thousands of children are growing up in forever families, learning about their world, healing from past trauma, and looking forward to bright futures. Refer to the navigation at the top of the page and the links on the right for information about additional resources.
The Forever Kids Club recognizes those who invest in children's futures through gifts to our endowment fund or include Seneca Orange County and the programs of Kinship Center and Canyon Acres in their future estate plans. For more information, please call (714) 383-9335.
Canyon Acres and Kinship Center have legally become part of Seneca Family of Agencies and now operate under Seneca’s 501C(3) as Seneca, Orange County in Southern California. Our regional efforts are governed by a statewide Board of Directors and a local Leadership Board, with member representation on the governing Board. Funds raised and intended for the support of Orange County programs will remain in Orange County and be used for the benefit of local children and families.
“My husband and I have worked with Kinship Center in Southern California since about 2005. We successfully adopted our son in 2006 and have had a baby girl placed with us recently. Our experience has been wonderful - all of the social workers have been so dedicated and caring. We are so happy that we chose Kinship Center to help us grow our family.” --Leticia
