About Kinship Center: More than 50,000 children in California are waiting for a safe home and a loving family that will be there for life. Kinship Center builds adoptive and other families where children can heal from past abuse, neglect or abandonment and grow to healthy adulthood. We help 2,500 children each year, mostly those whom many others consider too difficult: severely traumatized children, older teenagers, children with disabilities, large sibling groups, and drug affected infants. Every child deserves a family, and Kinship Center makes it happen. We invite you to explore our website to learn about our statewide programs.
Orange County Services:
Kinship Center provides a continuum of services in Orange County and throughout Southern California that create and sustain permanent families for children who need them. In March 2012, Canyon Acres merged with Kinship Center, bringing additional therapeutic programs and services. Click on the links below for program-specific information. Refer to the navigation at the top of the page and the links on the right for information about additional resources.

Testimonials:
“My husband and I have worked with Kinship Center in Southern California since about 2005. We successfully adopted our son in 2006 and have had a baby girl placed with us recently. Our experience has been wonderful - all of the social workers have been so dedicated and caring. We are so happy that we chose Kinship Center to help us grow our family.” --Leticia
