Kinship Center Raises Awareness for Foster Care in Tustin

The Kinship Center staff and community in Orange County, CA recently had the opportunity to screen the short version of

From Place to Place.

On May 9th, Kinship Center’s Tustin office hosted the screening with special guest Matt Anderson, MSW, the film’s producer and ambassador.  Aside from viewing this important documentary, the highlight of the evening was the panel of former foster youth who spoke about their experience of aging out of the foster care system in California.  Watch the video below to catch a glimpse of a clip of the film, the evening’s events, as well as to hear some of the panelists from the Tustin event tell their story.  We are planning

From Place to Place

screenings at other Kinship Center locations later this summer to show our support for this film and to raise awareness for youth aging out of foster care.
